Here is my sweeties Valentines Day cookies, White Chocolate and M&M’s.
I am issue a warning before you continue reading.
You Must, Must, Must pack these up and remove all but the one you are going to eat and the one each one of your sweeties are going to eat.
Give a few to your mailman, garbage man, UPS driver, neighbor, friends. Send some to work with your husband to give to his co-workers. No matter what DO NOT allow them to stay in your kitchen! Whew, I am glad that is over with! So now that you have been duly warned let me show you how to make these very bad, bad, really good cookies!
Yes, I know I am being contradicting… its a talent.
Here is how it all happened!
I went to the grocery store to get ingredients to make my chili for my hubby because his beloved Bengals were playing in their playoff game. Yes, I know the Bengals lost and yes, I know it was last month but recipe development happens in my kitchen, so yes, I was making these last month- there have been many Valentine’s Day’s desserts over the last month….. Back to my story, so I am at the grocery store and of course like the dummy that I am, I went to the grocery store hungry. Which we all know only means disaster is lurking around the corner and I came home with stuff I did not need, like a bag of Valentines Day M&M’s.
OHHH I thought those look like fun, I will come up with a cookie to share on my blog to celebrate Valentines Day. See thats how I come up with these recipes they always seem to start with a hungry tummy. So here you have it, a cookie that is perfect to give to the ones you love this Valentines Day, with a warning label.
So consider yourself thoroughly warned, because these darn things are addictive!

Jeannine, they are crispy. If you flip flop the brown sugar to 1 1/2 and sugar to 1 cup you may get a softer cookie. The moisture in brown sugar makes for a chewier cookie. If you give it a try, let me know how they turn out.
Good luck,
Amy

Hi, I am Amy, and I am a confessed Food Lover, Garden Addict and Photo Junkie!
During the day you can find me in my garden or kitchen, and most likely my camera won’t be far. When I am not at home I like to head to the gym, or stretch out at hot yoga. I didn’t really start cooking and baking until I got married and I needed to feed my family!

Hi Amy,
Are these Valentines cookies soft or hard in texture? I’m looking for a soft one.
