Healthy Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip

This Healthy Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip is the perfect way to enjoy a chip or two… or three, guilt free, but not flavor free.

Jackson Honest Sweet Potato Chips

Are you a chip fan?

Is that a silly stupid question? I mean really who doesn’t love chips? They are crispy, crunchy and if you are lucky salty. The thing is though if you have healthy eating on the brain, you immediately think “can’t have chips!”

That is not true anymore!

My healthy chick-a-dee’s I have good news for you! Not only do I have a chip that is keeping it clean and simple, but also crispy, crunchy and salty. You can eat these chips guilt free!

All you gluten-free guys and gals out there, these chips work for you.

You paleo folks, they even have paleo friendly chips!

So what are they you ask? Jackson’s Honest  I picked up three different varieties at my local Fresh Thyme, and I was very happy I did.  I have tried Purple Heirloom Potato Chips, Sweet Potato Chips, and Lime Sea Salt Tortilla Chips.  I finally decided the Purple Heirloom Chips are my favorite.

Because I loved these chips so much I had to make a healthy dip to eat with my new favorite chips. I wanted something simple, and easy with limited ingredients.  Basically, something that was quick to whip up so as not to slow down my time snacking.

I have been on a yogurt kick this winter, mostly for the probiotic but also for the added protein.  That is what is perfect about this little dip recipe it has limited ingredients, takes minutes to prepare and offers you a little healthy kick all guilt free.

All you need is to pick up a cup of greek yogurt, some fresh dill, pull out some staple spices and voila you have the perfect dip for chips and veggies.

Another great way I have enjoyed these chips is in the morning. Yep chips for breakfast.

If you follow me here you know I am not a morning person, and that usually means I want my breakfast simple and brainless. The other morning I was whipping some eggs up for my morning fuel and my bag of sweet potato chips was sitting on the counter, and I thought “why the hell not?”  So, right as my eggs were firming up, I crumbled a hand full of chips up in my hand and sprinkled them over my eggs.

Brilliant! Eggs and potatoes in seconds. Protein and carbs and healthy fat (coconut oil) in seconds. Little macro balancing all within seconds.  I will have you know this little bit of brilliance was achieved before my morning cup of joe.  Impressive..right?

Back to these Jackson’s Honest Chips and the company behind them.

Jackson’s Honest was started because the founders’ son was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and they were looking for ways to ease his symptoms.  That is where the company’s motto “Goodness. Pass it On” actually means something, something you can trust.  It isn’t a marketing gimmick, it is how they live. They want to provide all of us and themselves snacks that encourage health and happiness.

I hope you guys give these chips a try!  You will be as addicted as I am.
