Kir Royale Champagne Cocktail

by Amy Stafford on December 29, 2012

Happy New Year- almost!!

This is probably my favorite champagne cocktail.  I was introduced to the Kir Royale a delectable sweet, bubbly concoction by my dear, sweet friend Peggy Joseph years ago and I still fall back on it when we go out and I just want that sweet black cherry fizzy on my tongue.

Peggy is one of those chicks that is fashionably stylish in an effortless kind of way.  She is a wonderful photographer (she took my photo for my blog) and always knows the coolest places to eat, what to drink and where to travel.  Do you hate her yet?  NO you really can’t because she is one of the kindest people you will ever meet.  So, thank you Ms. Peggy for sharing your drink with me all those years ago, and even though I am probably way behind the times having this at my top of the list of New Years beverages, I still love it!
