You see my friend Katie Webster who is the superstar behind Healthy Seasonal Recipes has had her big dream realized, she has gotten a book deal. Well deserved, I might add.
Katie is working her fanny off cooking, baking, chopping, photographing and writing her book, so she asked a few of us to help by guest posting for her during her cookbook time. Of course I was thrilled to contribute, not only because Katie has a great blog, but we share so many of the same passions.
When she asked me to contribute I was half way through my Whole 30 Challenge, which is removing all grain, dairy and sugars from your diet completely. Yeah, you heard me. I was going a bit out of my mind wanting something baked and everywhere I looked were pictures of donuts and pumpkin baked goods. I was loosing it! Really… crazy-cray.
I started working on a grain free, dairy free pumpkin donut. I know yuck right. Trust me I tossed a few donuts in the trash during the process. BUT, never fear I figured it out and I got my pumpkin chocolate donut fix.
