I think the question I get asked the most about how to eat healthy is usually centered around snacking.  What to eat for a snack, how much, how can it be easy and healthy?

We have all struggled with it before. That in-between meal time or when we are on the go time, or how do I not eat a handful of pretzels at 3:00 when I am starving and dinner feels so far away time.

Oh those dang pretzels! They just sit there on our pantry shelf taunting us, they are so simple, but we know they won’t satisfy our hunger, but just fill us up with empty calories we will regret later. Why oh why did we buy them when we were at the store.

Yep we have all been there.

You are going to love these yogurt protein cups.  Just pick up individual greek yogurt cups, add in a tablespoon of protein powder, stir to blend and then top with your favorite fresh fruit, or even granola.

Delicious! Simple! Healthy!

Stop in your local Walmart store and pick up some Dannon ® Greek Oikos ® individual greek yogurts.  My personal favorite is the all natural vanilla 0% fat greek yogurt cups. I have also tried the blueberry which goes just as well with the chocolate protein powder. Change it up and try an assortment of Dannon Greek single serve yogurt flavors.

This is a great summer snack but also think about how great these will work for the kids when they go back to school.

Really have fun with the toppings. Fruit, granola, peanut butter… yes the vanilla greek yogurt with chocolate protein powder and a nice dollop of creamy peanut butter, is mighty delicious!

Why not even make a yogurt cup topping bar.  Set out the different toppings in individual bowls on the counter, and then let the kids have some fun mixing and matching what they think would taste best with their Dannon Greek single serve yogurt.

You can find your Dannon Greek single serve yogurts at your local Walmart in the dairy section. For me that is on the back wall. To help you get started snacking healthy with my Yogurt Protein cups here is a link to a coupon click (here) to receive.

Absolutely positively perfect suggestion for my lunch! I’m diabetic with gastroparesis so eating small “meals” through the day is essential for me. I love Greek yogurt with blueberries so adding protein powder to up the nutritional value and stabilize my blood sugar through through the afternoon is exactly what I need to do. Thanks for the great information on your site.
