This little Green Goddess Cocktail is an energizing cocktail.

Green Goddess Cocktail | ahealthylifeforme.com

My husband loves celery, I am not sure if it is the flavor or the crunch he likes.  Celery contains high calcium and due to this it is commonly used to calm the nerves so maybe that is why while I am talking to him he opens the fridge snaps a few stalks and starts chomping?? hmmm interesting though don’t you think?

If you love the flavor, the leaves that sit on top of the stalk, have the most “celery” taste.  Remember that when cooking because a few of those leaves will add a lot more flavor than a few stalks.

Same holds true for this cocktail.  I added two stalks to my blender because I didn’t have the leafy tops. For some reason the organic celery that I buy has the leafy tops cut off.   I added a big pinch of cilantro because we are big fans of the taste, which is about a tablespoon of fresh leaves and stalks.

You can substitute Gin in this cocktail if your not a Vodka fan, either will showcase the fresh flavors of this Green Goddess Cocktail.

Enjoy! Amy
