Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper, then set aside.
Combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan, and parsley, then set aside.
Whisk the egg with water and set this aside, too.
Bread the chicken by dipping it first in the egg and then in the breadcrumb mix.
Cook the chicken for 4 – 5 minutes per side or until the breading is golden-brown.
Place the seared chicken on the broiler pan, and bake for about 28 – 30 minutes, or until done.
Top with warmed marinara and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan.
