Italian Baked Parmesan Chicken Breasts

Parmesan Crusted Chicken is a healthy, easy dinner idea.  Chicken breast coated with Italian breadcrumbs and parmesan is perfectly crispy on the outside, and perfectly juicy on the inside!

Simple Ingredients

You'll only need a few ingredients to make this easy recipe, so let's round them up and get started!

Season the Chicken

Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper, then set aside.

Prepare the Breading

Combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan, and parsley, then set aside.

Whisk the Eggs

Whisk the egg with water and set this aside, too.

Bread the Chicken

Bread the chicken by dipping it first in the egg and then in the breadcrumb mix.

Sear the Chicken

Cook the chicken for 4 – 5 minutes per side or until the breading is golden-brown.


Place the seared chicken on the broiler pan, and bake for about 28 – 30 minutes, or until done.


Top with warmed marinara and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan.
