Salted Whiskey Caramels

What Are Salted Whiskey Caramels?

You'll only need a few ingredients to make this easy recipe, so let's round them up and get started!

Heat the Cream

In a small saucepan, heat the butter, cream, whiskey, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until boiling.

Heat the Sugar

Heat sugar, corn syrup, and water over medium-high heat until it turns golden brown.


When that’s done, turn off the heat and slowly pour the creamy mixture into the sugary mixture.


Put the saucepan back on medium-low heat, and let it cook for about 10 minutes.


Pour the caramel into the prepared pan and let it cool for about 10 minutes.

Add Salt

Sprinkle a tablespoon of salt on top, then let it cool down completely.

Cut into Squares

Remove the parchment paper with caramel from the pan and cut it into 1 inch squares on a cutting board.


You can wrap them individually in parchment paper for storage.
