Maple Mustard Grilled Chicken

  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon liquid coconut aminos
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken thigh or breast {about 6-8 pieces}
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil {only use if you need to grease grill grate}


  • Combine the first 7 ingredients in large sealable plastic bag.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over chicken and add to bag, seal and place in the fridge for 30 minutes or longer. . The more time you allow the chicken to marinade the better the flavor will be.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove chicken from bag and place on the grill or in the skillet to cook. Discard bag and marinade.
  • Cook chicken for about 8-10 minutes on both sides or until done.
  • Remove chicken and serve immediately.
