Pineapple Protein Smoothie is the perfect way for a busy mom to recharge after a tough workout, when you are on the go, or when you need an afternoon good for you pick me up.
I got to go kayaking on Tuesday and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. It was the perfect way to spend a summer morning with a good friend taking in the perfect outdoors and getting in a bit of exercise.
I packed a small bag with some treats and we got to float down the Little Miami River nibbling on some mouthwatering fruit thanks to Del Monte Fruit Refreshers. The fruit cups were perfect to enjoy while on the go, easy to travel and eat.
I loved the flavors so much I decided to use the cups in my after workout smoothie. I love pineapple and a pineapple protein smoothie sounded pretty darn tasty to me. I added vanilla protein powder and cottage cheese to up the protein content in the smoothie to epic levels. Since the Del Monte cups are sweetened perfectly the flavor combo was perfect.
Del Monte’s new Fruit Refreshers come in two unique and delicious new flavors: Pineapple in Passion Fruit Flavored Fruit Water and Mandarin Orange in Coconut Water.
My favorite is the Pineapple in Passion Fruit Flavored Fruit Water. It is brilliantly refreshing with a sparkle of pineapple and a luxurious splash of passion fruit flavored water. The tantalizing flavor combinations are wonderfully refreshing without being too sweet.
Del Monte Fruit Refreshers contain one serving of fruit, with no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors or sweeteners, no GMOs, and non BPA and are 100 calories or less per serving.
