The running joke in our house is how cold can my hands and feet get before they are considered frostbit. Â Well its my husbands joke.
Mostly because I derive great pleasure from sticking my cold hands up the back of his shirt, or sliding into bed and very slowly sliding my foot over onto his warm leg, and then listening to him squeal.  I know its sick and twisted, but it is so much FUN!  I figure if he insists on the house being 68° then I will insist on him understanding the effects.
I think most married couples I know the wife complains about how the husband sets the thermostat lower than she would like and the husband complains that his wife has the coldest feet and hands of any person on earth. Â Seems like a simple solution don’t you think? Â Ladies….
Okay enough about my cold feet and lets talk about this little Apple Sidecar Cocktail. Â It is GOOD! Â Who knew I liked Brandy? Â Not me, but I do! Â I really like Brandy with Cointreu and lemon juice. Â The apple and allspice gives it that fall twist that makes it perfect for that cold evening.
Also, I am giving a free Holiday Recipe eCookbook as a gift to new subscribers.  The eCookbook is a collaboration between myself and two of my friends who are also bloggers.  Denise from Chez Us and Emily from Jelly Toast blog also included recipes and several cooking tips to help us keep cooking healthy through the crazy holiday season ahead.  The eCookbook contains a few of our favorite holiday recipes and several new unpublished ones as well.
