Green Bean Turkey Club Sandwich made with Hormel Natural Choice Oven Roasted Deli Turkey | ahealthylifeforme.comWhen I think back to the foods I ate as a kid, the first one that comes to mind is the sandwich.  You see I was one picky eater, with an extremely limited palate.

Part of this is because my parents ate the same meals and were not at all adventurous with their food {they are still not, even though I try} and part of it was I was a skinny, picky, wild thing that couldn’t be bothered.

When I think back to what I ate for lunch, it was a sandwich.  I truly can not think of anything else.  Here is another thing, gasp, it was always on Wonder Bread.  gagging here.

Needless to say, I was a girl who loved her sammie.  Still the same today, but how I enjoy my sandwich has changed, especially the bread.  A good sandwich should have layers of flavor and be ingredients that you feel good about eating, clean and nutritious.
