I have been working on this blog for sixteen months now and I finally am starting to feel like I have rhythm and a format that I like and enjoy. Â When I thought about doing my first round-up (a compilation of recipes for a specific purpose) I was worried I wouldn’t have enough Fourth of July specific recipes. Â Boy o boy was I wrong. Â I picked a few oldies and a few newbies that I think make for great recipes to help get the party started this July fourth. Â I hope you try a few out and let me know how you and yours like them. Â I picked recipes that have ingredients that are in season and fresh at the grocery store or farmers market and recipes that are easy to make ahead and to please a crowd.
My S’more Brownies are the perfect cookout dessert.
Italian Potato Salad is perfect for a summer cookout, because it sits out to marinate and doesn’t need to be refrigerated.
Red White Blue Salad is a beautiful and refreshing salad that is loaded with yummy goodness.
Perfect Grilled Corn, is exactly that, perfect. Â There is nothing that says summer more than grilled corn.
Spicy & Sweet Corn Mac n Cheese sweet from the corn and spicy from the jalapeno, a definite twist on a fan favorite.
Fourth of July Slushie, is a vodka snow cone, what adult wouldn’t love one of these?
Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuits will be a recipe you will make again and again, they are that good.
Fourth of July M & M Bars are a sweet chocolate candy dream bar.
I hope you have a safe and fun Fourth of July.
