Simple Lemon Rosemary Steamed Salmon is going to make your dinner life so so easy. Healthy, delicious, ready in 20 minutes dinner thanks to Kroger Easy for you Oven-Ready seafood program.
I was compensated by Kroger for my time in developing this recipe and post. All opinions are my own.
Seafood is so good for us, but sometimes we can be intimidated to cook it, or we don’t like the smell it may leave in our homes?
Kroger has it made cooking a healthy, delicious dinner straightforward and effortless.
When you are grocery shopping at your local Kroger store head to your seafood counter. Your fishmonger will be happy to help you with selection choices. You can choose between several sustainable seafood choices, such as Salmon, Cod, Shrimp, Tilapia and others. Then you will pick a seasoning and garnish to your taste.
Ask your fishmonger to help you with your selection if you are unsure. I picked Salmon as my seafood and then wanted to make sure that I picked a seasoning that was lower in sugar, I choose the Rosemary-Garlic.
Then you get to choose your garnishes. I went with butter, garlic, and lemon. All seasonings that I typically like to include in my salmon dishes.
Once your selections are complete your fish monger with place them into a sealed oven-ready bag. Sealing everything together for you within minutes.
That is it!
Grab your veggies for your side, maybe some lettuce to throw together a salad and BAM! You have one seriously healthy, OH-SO easy dinner.
Place your bag on a baking sheet and bake according to directions that are directly on the outside of your bag. Based on the weight of your seafood your bag will direct you to a temperature and time needed to finish with the perfect cooked fish.
No fuss, no muss!
I like to throw my bag on a large baking sheet and on the other end add some veggies to roast right alongside your seafood packet. That means you only dirty one baking sheet and your whole dinner is complete and on the table in minutes.
I am not pulling your leg, it is that easy!
To prove to you just how easy this whole process is, on Friday the 24th at noon, I am going to do a Facebook live directly from Kroger showing you how I order my seafood, seasoning, and garnishes. If you guys have any questions please comment below this post and I will make sure to include them when I do the Facebook live.
I placed a bunch of asparagus down on the baking pan, topped them with sliced mushrooms, diced scallions a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt and ground pepper.
Placed the pan in the oven and in 20 minutes I had a complete dinner out of the oven and ready to plate.

I made this dish and it was so Good! I recommend.
IS it possible to sub dried rosemary & garlic powder for the rosemary-garlic spice in the recipe? I doubt that I can find it here in Canada where I live
Hi Elizabeth, yes you can make your own spice.
