I am a girl who loves her toast. I know, I know such a boring food choice to love, but I do.
It was definitely my breakfast of champion when I was in high school and college. Mostly because I was lazy in high school and broke in college.
Toast has come a long way since back then. It gets a lot more than a slather of butter or a dollop of peanut butter these days.
These days toast is the chic way to enjoy your fruits and vegetables. Gourmet cheeses spread, mashed avocado, and jams and preserves can be spread to melt and soak into your toast. Then the number of delicious toppings you can use is endless. Fruit, Vegetables, Nuts and Steak and Shrimp can make your toast into a meal.
Why you want to make this Strawberry Mascarpone Toast.
This is a great way to enjoy your breakfast. A perfectly toasted piece of Pepperidge Farm® Harvest Blends bread, slathered with creamy Mascarpone cheese, freshly ripe sliced strawberries, a touch of mint and a drizzle of honey.
This toast is a great way to start your day and would make a great addition to your next brunch. With all the fresh beautiful strawberries you can find right now, it seemed like the perfect way to top my morning toast.
