Berry Crumble Bars are loaded with summer fruit, nuts, sweetened with honey and are gluten and dairy free. The perfect dessert bar for the fourth of July and all summer long.
I am pretty excited about the fourth of July, which usually happens every year, but this fourth of July I am just a bit more excited. Why you ask? Cuz my favorite n-laws are coming to visit. No not the parent n- laws, but the brother, sister n law and their kiddies. My very beautiful and talented niece and nephew!
We are down a man this year, as my oldest with be in DC celebrating with his friends. boo hoo! But even with his absence we will have a good time. Lots of laughing {this is inevitable with my brother n-law in the room}, lots of teasing and lots of eating.
I will definitely be making lots of goodies for the weekend and these bars are perfect for adults and kids alike. Sweet and beautifully patriotic with all those berries. If you want to keep this recipe dairy free, use vegan white chocolate chips or omit.
If you are in charge of desert this weekend, you may want to make up more than one batch, they won’t last because everyone will be noshing on these sweet bars.
What are your plans for the fourth? Fireworks, Friends, Family, Cookout, All of the Above? Come on, share!

Wow! I love how healthy you made these! Perfect for all the other treats I will be eating on the 4th of July 🙂 Love the berries and white chocolate- I’m a sucker for anything white chocolate!
I love white chocolate with anything and everything too Alex. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
These look wonderful Amy! A couple great options for the whey protein (to make the bars dairy-free) would be egg protein powder or pea protein. I find those work better in baking than brown rice protein.
Thanks for the tip Alisa!
I love how you left the berries whole and I can see exactly what I’ll be enjoying! Beautiful and delicious!
Thanks Betsy!
This is a great recipe for all those allergy sensitive family and friends! Love this! Enjoy spending the 4th with your family!
