Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for “fifth of May”) is a celebration held on May 5. Cinco de Mayo marks an outnumbered Mexican army’s victory over an invading French army on May 5, 1862, in Puebla, east of Mexico City.
To show your support for this important holiday you must drink a margarita. Here is the cocktail for you to toast the holiday. In this Blackberry Margarita I wanted to use regular tequila but **fortunately** I was out and only had coconut 1800 tequila, it made one delicious cocktail.
Have a Happy Cinco de Mayo.
