While on my trip to New Orleans we had the pleasure of having dinner at Boucherie. Â They got their start in a food truck and based on their success opened a restaurant that has people waiting in line. Â We ordered their Lime-Cucumber cocktail while we waited for our table, and we were quite happy to order a second.
I recreated it at home and it is a simple cocktail to mix, and the perfect way to usher in the warmer temperatures and farm fresh cucumbers that will be filling the farmers market shelves.

I LOVE gin and St. Germain together. The pop of pepper is genius too….yum!
Gin and St. Germain are the perfect little marriage, so light and refreshing!
My husband would be all over this cocktail! he lovessss cucumber cocktails and i can see him loving this one!
I hope he enjoys it Meg.
I am really intrigued by this. We are not big cucumber fans (still like them, just won’t go out of my way.) My husband loves sprinkling black pepper on his cucumbers so this drink would be something I could make for him!
I bet he will love it Kacey!
This looks so refreshing, perfect for those hot summer days!
I hope you try the recipe, it is so great!

Thanks Annie.
Gorgeous drink!! I’m thinking hot summer days and this cocktail definitely go together.
I loved New Orleans, but I need to go back as that was soooo long ago! Boucherie is on the list!
Boucherie was great we did brunch and it was fabulous!
New Orleans has the best inspiring food! Love this cocktail, so different and unique and sounds very refreshing with the cucumber!
I definitely ate my way through New Orleans Krista, great food.
Love everything about this cocktail, Amy. I use cucumber and gin together very often after traveling in Spain last year (those Spaniards dig their gin), but I have not added St. Germain. Next on the list. Thanks for a great recipe.
