Peach Champagne Floats

I am huge fan of champagne.  I love it before dinner, during dinner or at brunch.  Now I can have it as dessert!  I used Graeter’s Summer Peach Ice Cream in this dessert.  Graeter’s is our local ice cream superstar, and they now sell it in several chain grocery sotres.  If  you can find it in your area, you must, must try their Peach Ice Cream!!

You can order their ice cream on line for home delivery, they have unbelievable good ice cream with wonderful flavors!!

  • 3 medium peaches, halved, pitted and cut into wedges
  • 1/2 pint of Graeter’s Peach Ice Cream
  • 1/4 cup black-currant liquor, more for drizzling
  • Champagne

Place 3 wedges in a tall glass, top with a scoop or two of ice cream, drizzle 1-2 tablespoon of liquor and top with champagne.  Add more peaches or ice cream to your liking.  Serve with a spoon.
