The benefits of this Kale Green Smoothie recipe is like a shot to your nervous system, and giving you a huge energy boost. Not to mention it has protein and potassium to give your poor sore muscles a little pick me up. It is sweet, delicious, gluten free, soy free and paleo.
Holy crap has it been cold here in Cincinnati. Nothing worse than frigid cold temperatures, warm dry houses to make you feel achy, dry, and tired.
On another note, I got a new washer and dryer, woot-woot. The old pair kind of kicked the bucket and it was time. It is amazing how swift these bad boys work. All that extra time I have now… who knew I was wasting so much time waiting for my clothes to be clean.
I have been working at really keeping the diet clean, getting enough sleep and the hands washed to help my body fight against bacteria. One way to get the most bang for your buck while eating clean is getting as much green into your diet as you can.
Kale is one of those foods that has so many health benefits I buy it weekly and work at making it in as many recipes as I can. This Kale Green smoothie is a great way to get a full cup of Kale in one glass. This also contains a good dose of potassium for your muscles and rich nutrient immune boosters. Not to mention detoxifying benefits.
It gave me a huge energy boost, which I always seem to need around 3:00 p.m. That is my low energy hungry time.

I’m ashamed to admit, but I’d never had kale! I guess a smoothie would be a great way to try it!
Jaren, kale is kind of intimadating, but once you cook with it a few times, you will enjoy it.
