Crab Chowder is loaded with crab, corn, and gluten-free gnocchi. Â Creamy chowder that makes a hearty meal, perfect for chilly fall and winter nights. Â Gluten free, dairy free, soy free, and ready in 25 minutes.
I am so over Turkey and stuffing. Â I am just saying!
Don’t get me wrong I love Turkey and all the trimmings as much as the next gal, but I am so full!
It is time to go light, and a bowl of soup is just the thing.
The cold has hit, and I am stuck in the house decorating for Christmas. Â I don’t know how it works in your house, but here, everyone in my family goes on and on about how they love Christmas decorations. Â Debating over which lights are the best color, white, twinkle, big, small, you get the picture. Â Arguing over who should be able to put the topper on the tree, where the tree should go.
While all this debate goes on I just sit there quietly and listen. Â Cause I know when it comes time to bring up the tree, untangle the lights, find the one bulb that is causing half the string to not light up, I will hear crickets around my house. Â Yep, not a soul will be heard, just me grunting and wondering where everyone disappeared too.
But, it is not all bad, they will all re-appear to help put the ornaments on the tree. Â I can usually get the boys to hang the lights outside after all the bulbs have been replaced and the strands are working properly. Â Typical family shenanigans, well our typical family shenanigans.
This chowder is the perfect thing to serve the family after all that Christmas work. Â Easy to prepare so the cook doesn’t have to slave away in the kitchen, and delicious and hearty enough to tame the worker’s hunger.
I used a gluten-free gnocchi in this recipe which worked perfectly.
I hope your Christmas or Hanukkah decoration goes smoothly and you enjoy a big bowl of this chowder when you are done.

Absolutely delicious! A little too sweet for me, I think it was the coconut cream, next time I can cut that in half & maybe that will cut down the sugar. Husband said it was chef quality yum!
Thanks for the feedback!!
Oh. My. Word. I just made this soup this weekend and it is DIVINE. I added broccoli and used potatoes instead of gnocchi, and we can’t stop eating this! Froze the leftovers and can’t wait to dig into them again next week. Thank you for posting this!!
