I had an anniversary and the hubs and I went to Miami for a few days to relax and reconnect.  It is always good to get away and relax before the crazy starts with the upcoming holidays.

The weather was perfect so I got plenty of sun and sand.  As well as hitting some pretty awesome restaurants in the area.  What I noticed at almost every restaurant we ate at was the offering of brussels sprouts.  It’s like they are the new popular kid.  Which is good for all of us because they are the superstar of the vegetable world.

  1. I could use another brussel sprouts recipe. I often roasted them but sometimes I pan fry them with a wine reductions and shallots. I like your use of maple syrup here. Thanks!

Happy Anniversary and how cool you got to getaway to my part of the world! It’s even hotter this week than last week! I just love Brussel sprouts and have got to try your recipe. Looks great!

  3. That looks really good! I usually make brussels sprouts with honey as my kids won’t eat them unless they are sweet. I never thought to try maple syrup. I will have to try your recipe.

    1. Honey is another great way to flavor up brussels sprouts. I hope your kids like the addition of maple syrup.

  4. There are only a couple of people in my house who love brussels sprouts and would appreciate these as much as I would. I will need to try these! YUM!

I can’t wait for brussels to start getting that sort of attention in Australia- It’s like the ugly stepsister of vegetables! This looks so good and maple/sesame is such a good combo!
