Last night my youngest son graduated from High School, it such an exciting time for him and I hope his future is full of adventure, knowledge and good “safe” times.  We have family coming in to help us celebrate.  I came up with a fun easy cocktail that almost anyone will enjoy.  Though the first time making it, my oldest told me to add more vodka.  Really..  So my version only has 2 ounces, if your in college at 3 ounces.

I still feel like I am recovering from our trip out west last weekend to San Francisco and Sacramento, so a nice bright citrusy cocktail hit the spot.

Electric Lemonade Cocktail

Servings: 1

Ingredients

• 2 ounces vodka
• 1/2 ounce blue curacao
• 1/2 lemon juiced
• splash of ginger ale

Instructions

• In a high ball glass, add fresh ice, curaçao, vodka, juice from 1/2 lemon and top with ginger ale.
